MHS Care and Dignity NPO
After many years of assisting learners and families, 2023 saw the official launch and registration of the non-profit in the first quarter. Although it started from humble beginnings, its foundations are strong and its dreams are big!
Variety of Projects
2023 was a productive and rewarding year for the MHS Care and Dignity non-profit which was launched to support various projects that help to meet basic needs of many Milnerton High School learners and families as they navigate their way through rough waters.
Currently three volunteer groups comprising MHS parents, friends, and family assist towards providing learners in need with toiletry items, food hampers (perishables & non-perishables) as well as sandwiches for breaktimes

Donate
Regular donations contribute towards making MHS Care and Dignity sustainable in the long-term.
As a SARS registered organisation, the NPO can issue Section 18A’s to companies and individuals who choose to make donations in cash or in kind.
Volunteer
Volunteers for our various projects are always welcome.
We provide (via a roster system) breaktime sandwiches, family food hamper perishables, toiletries and in general assist to fill some gaps that can lighten the load and lessen the stress of hardship (with dignity).
Fundraise
Champion your own fundraising event and consider MHS Care and Dignity as your beneficiary.
Whether it’s a dance, a golf day or birthday party. We are happy being the centre of attention!
UNI SHOP

The NPO recently adopted the MHS second hand uniform shop, now aptly named UniShop (Repaired Recycled Reloved), which has moved into a revamped space where shopping for uniform items is made easy and affordable for new and existing parents. The UniShop is open EVERY Thursday from 14.30 – 16.00 and can be found on the 1st Floor above the hall foyer. Simply follow the signs! Card facilities are also available.
Learners and parents are encouraged to donate all their unwanted uniform items as all the income generated goes back into the work of the NPO. Drop off during school hours at the secretary’s office, clearly marked for UniShop.
