Support Projects
In August 2025 MHS Care launched an additional project offering MHS Care beneficiaries the opportunity to speak to counsellors, which has made a remarkable difference to the wellbeing of learners struggling with various challenges. In addition, the dream of a dedicated space was realised in January 2026 where counsellors can work with learners and their families in a calm, nurturing, and comfortable environment. All counsellors offer their time on a pro bono basis. A special thanks goes to the dedication and generosity of donors and partners that made the setup of the Cheslyn Joubert Counselling Room possible.
The Bereavement Support project launched as a gesture of love and compassion to those learners who experience the loss of a parent or sibling. It involves a visit to the family extending the support of MHS and MHS Care.
